Jakarta, November 1st, 2016 – A leading communication consultancy firm in Indonesia, PT Fortune Pramana Rancang (Fortune PR), has successfully achieved an outstanding accomplishment on last Thursday, 27th October by winning the PR Excellence Awards 2016 organized by PERHUMAS, an association of Public Relations and Communications practitioners in Indonesia. Fortune PR is honored with “Best Winner in Corporate PR Program” category.
PERHUMAS PR Excellence Awards is a distinctive award held for Public Relations practitioners, including both agencies and clients. It is organized as a medium to appreciate and honor PR activities conducted by Public Relations institutions as well as the professionals, divided into 10 optional categories. This prestigious award is conducted by Public Relations Association of Indonesia (PERHUMAS), marking their very first award in 2016.
PERHUMAS crowned Fortune PR as the winner in Corporate PR Program category for “Preserves and Beautifies Jakarta’s Heritage Sites” campaign, a remarkable achievement for Fortune PR together with JOTUN Indonesia. Through the campaign, Fortune PR with JOTUN Indonesia proved their concern in preserving Indonesia’s heritages by maintaining the beauty of one iconic site at the Capital City, the National Monument (Monas).

JOTUN Indonesia knows the importance of preserving the beauty of Monas as one of the historical and iconic sites in Indonesia. Its beauty needs to be well preserved to keep attracting both local and international tourists. JOTUN invited the civil servants, members of local communities and local citizen to participate in the event held as part of Indonesia’s Heroes Day’s commemoration. Through the campaign, JOTUN Indonesia along with local citizen had successfully beautified Monas and its surroundings by repainting the iron fences. On November 10th 2015, at the main event, the Governor of Jakarta, Ir. Basuki T. Purnama (Ahok) showed his appreciation for this program by joining in the painting process, together with all local citizen of Jakarta.

Fortune PR had also successfully achieved an outstanding recognition from SABRE Awards in 2015. Together with JOTUN Indonesia, Fortune PR was honored a “Gold Sabre” in Community Relations category through the “Bandung City Beautification by Involving Community Attachment in Reviving Local Society Assets” campaign. JOTUN executed the campaign to invite the citizen of Bandung to participate in reviving three abandoned local assets through preserving its beauty, to keep it as the attractive sites of Bandung.
